The main objective of verbiercpd is to provide a variety of professional groups, a minimum of 12 hours high altitude, high quality education. Thus enabling busy people time to complete their vital CPD study whilst allowing skiers and snowboarders time to enjoy Verbiers fabulous four valleys ski area, its vast off-piste, world famous après-ski and nightlife.

Mandatory, continued professional development now forms an integral part of professional life. This covers all activities that maintain, enhance and develop existing knowledge and skills. Membership of any professional body brings with it responsibilities beyond obtaining formal qualifications and being an upstanding member of society.  We are all now required, by law in most cases, to keep up to date with new developments, to refresh ourselves of previously studied topics and to enhance our knowledge base, which in turn makes us better practitioners and therefore benefits our clients/patients.

However verbiercpd recognises the need in some individuals, to complete their CPD in a more challenging environment. We are here to provide the highest quality education from our teams of speakers in breathtaking surroundings, facilitating your cpd requirements, promoting debates and allowing delegates to mix in this high altitude melting pot.

We actively promote the work hard play hard philosophy which, in turn, enables all the delegates and speakers alike, ample opportunities to learn, enjoy the company of fellow professionals, rekindle old friendships and thoroughly enjoy this winter wonderland.

Half board chalet accommodation with twin rooms is provided by established ski holiday companies Brambleski and Skiarmadillo who are based in the resort. This incorporates the usual chalet deal including wine with meals with the staff having one day off in the week. However delegates are welcome to attend the conference only and to find their own accommodation in Verbier of which there is a wide choice. www.verbier.ch will give you plenty of accommodation options..

Flights to and from Geneva are to be purchased by the delegates allowing you more flexibility and the opportunity, so long as your quick, the chance of really cheap flights. Remember also that you will all need to purchase travel and ski insurance. Transfers are this year included in the accommodation package and it is requested that arrivals into Geneva are no later than 18-30pm and departures are no earlier than 09-30am.If this is not possible then a surcharge may apply.   Of course another option for delegates is car hire or the efficient train transfer to Verbier (www.verbier.ch) which only takes 2 hours and is a wonderfully relaxing experience. The trains leave from Geneva airport a short walk from the arrivals terminal.

Please let us know in advance, if you wish to share a chalet with friends or for that matter if you wish to make a group booking which may entitle you to a discount.

The lecture schedules will allow for the optimum mix of fun and education. This means plenty of time on the mountains and not too many of those ghastly early morning lectures. The weather may, however, dictate a schedule change.

During the week with us we'll squeeze in a minimum of 12 hours CPD (for some of you there's more, hooray!!), a course quiz with exciting prizes to be won, and an après-ski party . All this combined with the exhilaration of the mountains, skiing, boarding and dare I suggest, a few late nights thrown in. )

All those not excited look away now.

We hope the experience will not only be rewarding and a whole lot of fun but will send you all home with a smile on your face.CPD is certainly here to stay and we aim to make your trip with verbiercpd a worthwhile educational journey and enormous fun!
